First and foremost, I’m a coach who is committed to excellence in coaching. I have clients who are CEO’s, entrepreneurs, executives, artists, writers, and business owners. I have been consulting with and mentoring people in business for 25 years across three continents and in the past few years I have trained with the U.S.-based Coaches Training Institute. I am also trained in the use of Profile Assessment Tools – they are a vast and inexpensive improvement on the “resume and instinct” approach to recruitment and job fit.

My six careers, before becoming a full-time coach, were as a nuclear physicist, computer programmer, software development manager, oil & natural gas industry consultant, marketing & sales director, and small business owner. I have a BSc and PhD from the University of Melbourne Australia. I own a couple of small businesses (managed by others) and I’m a part-time writer. I’ve spent a lot of time consulting at senior levels in large organizations - in Canada, the U.S., the U.K., South Africa, and Australia. I have a wonderful wife, an amazing step-daughter, and a great life.

My interest in coaching you is to quickly get to the root of what you really want to do with your business or with the challenges of your company position, and of your life altogether. In each sector of your life, what would bring you complete fulfillment? My careers have unfolded one into another mostly because I love learning and am continually taking that into new creations

I have always had the great good fortune of being able to integrate both my passion for working with people and whatever direction my current curiosity is leading me with financially sustainable as well as meaningful work. I have also been fortunate in finding a life partner and family with our twin daughters, as well as friends and allies, who support such integration in their own lives.

I love co-active coaching because that’s what it’s all about! I love the alignment, focus and aliveness I can bring through co-active coaching to clients’ personal, professional and spiritual lives. We have so much more energy and impact, with less effort in whatever we do when come from that alignment!

I also love bringing collaborative leadership to people and into companies and am passionate about expanding successful collaborations across the planet. The innovative and robust solutions that come from collaborative creations are astounding in their reach.

My careers have unfolded one into another mostly because I love learning and am continually taking that into new creations. Taking the fresh perspective new learning brings, through formal as well as less formal structures, and moving it into all aspects of living and working is invigorating and also is the heart of the coaching partnerships clients and I create.

My careers in education and learning styles, integrative psychotherapy, energy work through Jin Shin Jyutsu, and now co-active coaching have included two M.A.’s, three professional certifications, and 35 years experience in working with individuals, teams, organizations and companies in a wide variety of contexts and locales. I have co-founded five partnership-based businesses paralleling these careers and accompanying geographical shifts from Texas to Europe to Massachusetts to Colorado to Nova Scotia, Canada, and now globally through two virtual companies.

I received my professional coaching certification (CPCC) training through The Coaches Training Institute and am a member of the Co-Active Space Leadership community. In addition, I am also a certified Bigger Game Workshop Leader and Coach and in the process of being certified in Spiral Dynamics Integral. I am a member and a certified professional coach (PCC) with the International Coach Federation
